The Power of Prayer! YAY PETER!!!

Praise the Lord!

And the LORD said, "Here is a place by Me, and you shall stand on the rock.
Exodus 33:21

THANK YOU!!!
for faithfully praying with us for Peter!!!

For me Peter was more than just a Dark Horse. I first saw him when he was 2 years old, back in 2010. My parents were already in the middle of an adoption and couldn't go get him, but that they even considered him in that way, made him feel like a distant brother. We prayed and prayed for him.
His file disappeared from our sight for a while but we rediscovered him again on an advocacy sight. The question of "Is he a part of our family?" still wasn't far from some of our minds, but the Lord never called. So we prayed and prayed.
Those of you who have been with us here at Pages for a long time, Peter's face is not unfamiliar too you. He's been featured as a Dark Horse, and in as many other posts as I could fit him into!
My mom advocated to other advocates on his behalf and he got even more recognition. We continued to pray and pray.
Now at 9 years old Peter finally has a family pursuing him!!!

We've learned here at Pages, that just because you don't see results to your prayers right away doesn't mean they aren't working!

It reminds me of my younger siblings when they first started learning how to use a printer. When they didn't get results right away they'd push the button again, not realizing that every request was being saved in the printers queue. There may have been a seeming delay, but every one of those requests was accounted for, and soon we'd have a stack of 20 coloring pages!

Every one of our prayers is accounted for and not forgotten, even though there is a seeming delay, the requests we've made are still working toward His perfect will.

And the LORD said, Here is a place by Me, and you shall stand on the rock.
"So it shall be, while My glory passes by, that I will put you in the cleft of the rock, and will cover you with My hand while I pass by.
"Then I will take away My hand, and you shall see...
