A Not So Goodbye Melonie

 

Many, O LORD my God, are Your wonderful works

Which You have done;

And Your thoughts toward us 

Cannot be recounted to You in order;

If I would declare and speak of them,

They are more than can be numbered.

Then I said, "Behold, I come;

In the scroll of the book it is written of me.

Psalm 40:5;7

This is the first time we've ever advocated for a child who's country became involved in a conflict while we were featuring them.

Melonie is not currently able to be adopted because of this conflict but she is in no less need of prayer. At this point we are not going to say goodbye to her but we are going to change her status on our Dark Horses list. Since we've never had this happen before we are making this up as we go! She will no longer be counted as one of the twelve featured children, but she will still be included on our list for prayer.  

Thank you for your prayers for her life and safety during this difficult time in her country.
