Prayer for Melonie and Mabon

 

Many, O LORD my God, are Your wonderful works

Which You have done;

And Your thoughts toward us 

Cannot be recounted to You in order;

If I would declare and speak of them,

They are more than can be numbered.

Then I said, "Behold, I come;

In the scroll of the book it is written of me.

Psalm 40:5;7

I wanted to ask for additional prayer for our Dark Horse Melonie and former Dark Horse Mabon (adopted domestically). Both children are from the conflict area in Eastern Europe.

Dear Father, we lift up Melonie, Mabon and Mabon's family to You now. We ask that You would protect them and provide for them. 

I ask that You would comfort Melonie, surrounding her in Your arms of peace and that You would fill her heart with Your hope and love. I ask that You would keep her safe and provide for her needs. May the light of Your salvation shine upon her institution. I ask that You would guard the mouths of the staff that they would speak hope to the children and not despair. I ask that You would be near to all of the children there, that You would calm their fears and show them Your love.

I pray for Mabon, and for his health. I ask that You would provide for his care as his family navigates this situation. I ask that You would guide them and give them peace. Please provide for their needs and unite them as a family. If they don't know You Lord, I ask that You would use this situation to bring salvation to their home and if they do, I pray that You would strengthen their hearts, that they would not lose faith. 

Lord, these matters are bigger than we can carry but are very close to our hearts. We lay the lives of these children, their families, and our beloved brothers and sisters in Christ into Your hands now with confidence. 

In Jesus Christ' name, we declare the victory! Amen.
