This month's Dark Horse is 12 year old Sophie!
Sweet Sophie longs for a loving home and for a mom and dad to call her own! She’s quiet and introverted, and she’s most comfortable playing with children she knows well. She speaks clearly and she can even recite ancient poetry. Since she’s not able to stand or walk because of her paralysis, Sophie hasn’t been able to attend school outside the orphanage, but she studies with orphanage teachers.

Dear Father, I thank You for this precious treasure. Please touch her heart with Your love and let her know how special she is to you. I ask that You would bring her into the light that her family could find her and that You'd move upon their hearts to bring her home. Please bring healing to her to all the hurt she's faced in her young life because of the choices of others. Redeem the time and as you promised, use for good all that she's had to endure, that she may have the chance to blossom into all that You've made her to be. In Jesus Christ's name, amen.
