This month we're inviting you to be the advocate! It is illegal for Pages for the Dark Horses to feature children in the U.S. Foster Care system without permission. But these children need prayer just as much as the other children we feature here on our blogsite.

Under "Meet the Children" you can see waiting children from all over the country or you can look at state photo lists to find a child in your area to pray for.
Just as we feature a scripture with each Dark Horse of the Month we encourage you to prayerfully seek the Lord for a scripture you can pray and declare over the specific child or sibling group you find to pray for.

On July 4th Sound of Hope: the Story of Possum Trot will come to theatres to tell a true story of the lives that can be changed when people respond to the Father's touch on their hearts.

Dear Father, I thank You for this movie and for the truth it conveys. I pray that it would not just move peoples emotions but would move their hearts. That those You have called to adopt would be stirred to take that first step. You don't ask us to walk this road alone, or to leap out in faith alone. I thank You that You take our hand and walk with us every baby step of the way. May Your heart for these future adoptive parents not get lost in good excuses and life's distractions, let the cry of their children continue to ring out in their ears. And those of us who are not in the place to adopt, may You touch our hearts with Yours for how we can pray for these children and families. How we can support them in our churches and communities. In Jesus Christ' name, amen.
